Floating Heated Pool for Mandarin Oriental Lago di Como

The 5th World Conference on Floating Solutions (WCFS 2025) is hosted by Bluet Floating Solutions, and organised in collaboration with the Society of Floating Solutions, as well as a team of educational, academic and research institutes. The conference will take place in Espoo, Finland during 1st - 3rd September 2025.

The Mandarin Oriental Lago di Como project with pool and spacious sundeck was commissioned by the luxury hotel group Mandarin Oriental and, thanks to Bluet, succeeds in realising the architects’ vision of a stable aquatic oasis that blends seamlessly with the lake view. It is believed to be the world’s largest floating infinity pool.

Between the park and the water are a series of new boardwalks that run along the waterfronts. They have a universal design and extend the park experience out over the water and on to the floating pools. Public baths were once an intense place for social gatherings in our cities.
