The idea of the EX series was born following a careful analysis of the market and the needs of smart shipowners, who are looking for a type of cruise boats of quality, different by the commercial production, in response to the highest standards of functionality, security, performance, and quality of construction.

To realize this idea, it was decided to follow a modern design process, assigning specific tasks to different specialists, among the best in their field.

Ideation and project leader

The idea and project coordination are by Pierpaolo Ballerini.

Its task is to draw up starting from the initial specifications of the boat, then move on to the identification of partners for the development of the different parts, and then follow the details given to the development of the project executive. He also attended the fluid dynamic simulations (CFD) with some specialists using the most advanced programs used in the design in the last America’s Cup campaigns.

Engineer Pierpaolo Ballerini

He dedicated his entire life to the boating industry. From 1992 to 2012 was the owner of the shipyard and the brand Azuree, has to his credit a number of innovative projects.

Consultant, in the marine industry, for important projects, both in the productive sector (technology, layout, environmental issues, production lines) and product design.

Expert in the field of composites and other plastics (thermoforming, rotational molding, foaming polyurethane, injection molding).

One of the main developers of the molding technology infusion in the marine industry since 2003.
