Cramm Yachting Systems was recently approached to consider ways of integrating a new passerelle onboard a Dutch superyacht which was delivered a couple of years ago. The yacht’s captain - who has always been a fan of Cramm equipment - contacted us and a Cramm service engineer in the south of France was able to visit the yacht the same day.
After inspection of the passerelle and performing the necessary tests, the engineer informed the client that the production process for a new passerelle would take several months. He therefore gave advice on how the existing passerelle could best be used for the remainder of the season.
After discussing the specification of the new passerelle with the captain, we then worked out the details in the technical specs. Once the proposal was accepted by the client, the new passerelle went into production.
