Taiwan Underwater Tech Company DWTEK Expands Offshore Services Internationally, from Offshore Wind to Oil and Gas Industries
A Major Step Forward with the Signing of MOU with Middle East Company Axis Inspection Contracting JSC.
Taiwanese company DWTEK Subsea Solution Provider, recently announced the expansion of their services internationally. This milestone was achieved by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Middle East company Axis Inspection Contracting JSC in Taichung, Taiwan. Besides DWTEK's products, their services will now extend beyond the Offshore Wind industry to include the Oil and Gas sector.
This collaboration began early this year when Axis took the initiative to contact DWTEK to learn more about the services. Later Axis founded both companies, founded in 2008, and innovation is at the core of both companies' operations.
Axis is a Middle Eastern company providing world-class industrial inspection and maintenance services using cutting-edge technology. Their experience includes inspection, advanced and conventional NDT, condition monitoring, and industrial maintenance services tailored to the Oil and Gas industry. DWTEK, has developed and manufactured advanced equipment such as underwater connectors, components, and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). They also operate a DP1 offshore supply vessel named Sunny Bright and have an ROV pilot team(trained according to the IMCA R002 guideline.) Both bring significant expertise to the table, the MOU was signed based on DWTEK and Axis shared strengths and complementary expertise.
Quote from Axis: ‘This collaboration combines our complementary strengths and expertise in the offshore and subsea industry to provide our clients with more excellent value and expanded offerings.’
For DWTEK, this partnership marks the first time they will provide services, not just products, to world-class international clients. "We have supported Taiwan's wind turbines with offshore wind farm services for many years, but it was limited to domestic needs. Now, with an international partner, we can bring our expertise and experience to serve our global clients’ needs," stated a DWTEK representative.
With this MOU, the two companies are poised to enhance their technical capabilities and provide more comprehensive services to the Oil and Gas industry on an international scale.
