DPOL expansion in Spain: 3 DPOL HD for Valencia’s top yacht club

In July 2026, DPOL expansion in Spain reached a new milestone.

In July 2026, DPOL expansion in Spain reached a new milestone. The Real Club Náutico de Valencia, one of the most prestigious nautical institutions in the country, has acquired three DPOL HD robots after a one-month rental trial. A decision driven entirely by results on the water.

A century-old institution with demanding standards

Founded in 1903, the Real Club Náutico de Valencia is a landmark in Spanish sailing culture. With 1,206 berths across more than 250,000 m² of water surface, it is the largest yacht club in Spain by surface area. It has hosted the America’s Cup and attracted the world’s most prestigious sailing teams to its waters. For an institution of this standing, water quality and cleanliness are not optional, they are part of its identity.

One month to be convinced: 100+ litres of waste per day

Before committing to any purchase, the club chose to rent a DPOL Classic, available from €370/month to assess the robot’s performance in real conditions. The results were unambiguous: over 100 litres of waste collected every day throughout the trial period. Floating plastics, algae, surface hydrocarbons, the robot worked continuously, without mobilising any staff, requiring only a simple net-emptying at regular intervals.

One month was enough.

A leasing plan: the smart acquisition

Convinced by the results, the club decided to acquire three DPOL HD units, not as an outright purchase, but through a 3-year leasing plan. This approach offers a dual advantage: it spreads the investment over time, removing any immediate budget pressure, and it includes a full 3-year warranty on all units. A pragmatic decision, fully in line with the management standards of a club of this calibre.

Spain: a strategic territory for DPOL

This acquisition is part of a broader momentum. Through our partner Equiport SL, official distributor and DPOL Technical Center for the whole of Spain, DPOL expansion in Spain is accelerating. Following the technical dry run at Marina Vela in Barcelona in December 2025, the Real Club Náutico de Valencia now stands as a major new reference in the Spanish port landscape. When the most demanding institutions in the country choose DPOL®, it sends a clear signal to the entire sector.

Try before you buy

DPOL rental is available from €370/month. It allows any port manager, marina, or leisure base to evaluate the robot on their own water, with no long-term commitment. A simple, risk-free way to measure real-world impact before making a decision.
