New ways of cost-effective Internet at sea

The Kymeta Hawk u8 is a complete connectivity solution ready to provide mobile communications

EPAK has recently extended its product range by becoming a reseller for Kymeta flat-panel satellite terminals. This addition can benefit especially small yachts in the Mediterranean, that are looking for a lightweight internet antenna and fixed package data contracts.

The Kymeta Hawk u8 is a complete connectivity solution ready to provide mobile communications. It's designed to meet owner and guest needs such as entertainment, social media, business video conferencing, email, news, crew welfare, and operational communications.

The flat-panel antenna is based on Kymeta's industry-leading, electronically steered terminal and mounts easily on vehicles and vessels to provide seamless satellite or hybrid satellite/cellular connectivity.

Kymeta's lightweight and cost-effective solution can also be added as a backup system to EPAK parabolic antennas, combining the advantages of both technologies.

Future Proof

The upcoming LEO and MEO constellations are currently revolutionizing the satellite industry. As soon as the OneWeb constellation becomes commercially available, it will provide worldwide coverage and high speeds to Kymeta terminals. (Modem upgrade required).
