Peniche Shipyards

The Vanguard of Shipbuilding in Portugal

We are pleased to announce a new milestone in the history of the Peniche Shipyards (ENP)! Last August, we completed the molding of a revolutionary hull for a purse seine fishing vessel, measuring 22.50 meters in length.

A New Level in Shipbuilding

This hull, constructed from FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic), represents a significant advancement in the shipbuilding industry. Designed and produced based on the latest industry requirements, this new hull mold ensures:

Greater Efficiency: Lighter weight and increased strength result in reduced fuel consumption and greater range.

Durability: FRP offers excellent resistance to corrosion and impacts, extending the vessel's lifespan.

Sustainability: Lighter materials and more efficient production processes contribute to a lower environmental footprint.

Commitment to Innovation and Quality

At ENP, innovation is one of our core pillars. This new project demonstrates our ability to adapt to market needs and develop customized, efficient solutions.

In addition to this new hull, we have two more contracts in progress, reinforcing our leadership position in the sector.

Certified Quality

All our processes are rigorously controlled and certified to ISO 9001:2015 standards, ensuring the highest quality in all our products and services.

Together, Building a More Sustainable Future for Fishing

With this new investment, ENP reaffirms its commitment to supporting national fishing by providing modern, efficient, and sustainable vessels.
