Fischer Panda certified with Lloyd’s Register Type Approval

Fischer Panda is proud to announce that it has been certified with the Lloyd’s Register Type Approval for “electrical power generation for marine recreational applications”.

The Lloyd’s Register Type Approval certification covers a wide range of Fischer Panda generators. These include the latest range of variable speed i-Series generators, generators with regulated speed with x-control and generators with the patented Voltage Control System (VCS).

The certification standard includes Manufacturing Standard IEC60092-504 and IEC600092-507.

The certificate also included additional vibration, humidity, dry heat and low temperature tests in accordance with Mil-STD 810G.

The certificate reliably demonstrates the quality of Fischer Panda components and that their products comply with recognised industry quality standards, International Conventions and the LR Rules. Fischer Panda’s customers can be confident that Fischer Panda can meet the standards required for their projects.

The certificate was issued on 16th October 2018 and is valid for five years.

Fischer Panda chose Lloyd’s Register because of their truly independent approach to product verification. Lloyd’s Register started out in 1760 as a marine classification society. Today, they are one of the world’s leading providers of professional services for engineering and technology. Their aim is to improve safety and increase the performance of critical infrastructures for clients in over 75 countries worldwide.

The Lloyd’s Register Type Approval was followed by the successful recertification by the Russian River Register a few days before.
