NEW: boat stabilizer by Humphree

The Humphree Fixed Fins are mounted to the hull bottom close to transom in order to improve course keeping performance of the vessel. Consequently the fins reduce losses associated with excessive yaw motions and correcting actions of the steering system, while adding only a minimum of resistance. The fins are specially designed to not cause any cavitation related problems at high speed.

The fins are well suited for new designs as well for retrofitting to existing vessels. The bolt pins are sized to fail if the fin strikes an underwater object. The fin then separates from the hull with a minimum damage to hull structure. The fixed fins are made of aluminium for strength, low weight and good corrosion resistance. The fins and bolt pins are supplied factory assembled.

The product range includes:

• Sub-cavitating stabilising fins (below 40 knots)

HFF400

HFF650

• Base-ventilated stabilising fins (above 40 knots)

HFF500
