PC45 Constant Running Power Unit by Hy-Pro

The versatile PC45 constant running power unit uses a heavy-duty 4 brush fan cooled motor to deliver 4.5 lpm. For use in heavy duty applications on larger yachts or commercial craft these units come fitted with pressure compensated flow controls, relief valves and cylinder lock valves as standard. Developed specifically for marine autopilot applications in the commercial and larger pleasure boat market the PC45 can be used with single or twin ram systems.

The unit is designed to be compatible with both balanced and unbalanced rams and pressurised reservoir type systems.

New ultra low power corrosion resistant reversing pump

We are very pleased to introduce the new PR+08, 0.8 L/min reversing pump to the Hy-ProDrive range. This high performance, ultra quiet, gear pump boasts a 12V 50W motor and is suitable for smaller steering cylinders and stern drive applications. Suitable for cylinders of 75 cc to 250 cc the new pump is ideal for the smaller craft, where power consumption and noise is an issue. The unit draws only 1.3 amps at 25% duty and a maximum of 14 amps at full power, producing pressures of between 5 and 55 bar.

Like all the pumps in the Hy-ProDrive range, the PR+08 is IP67 rated and corrosion protected for marine environments, where water ingress and corrosion from salt is a very real risk.
