IADYS & C to Sea join forces !

IADYS & CtoSea couple the Jellyfishbot with the Thomsea trawl to improve the aquatic depollution.

IADYS and C to Sea companies have decided to join forces to collect the floating waste and oils on the water surface. It is now possible to draw a Thomsea trawl with two Jellyfishbots, remote controlled bots, to cover a larger pollution area.

“We met thanks to the RespectOcean network, and right away we have identified the great potential of synergy between our two products” explains Nicolas Carlési, CEO and founder of IADYS.

Usually, the Thomsea trawls are drawn by boat. The use of the Jellyfishbot is eco-friendlier as it doesn’t produce any pollution by oil or noises that contributes to protecting the marine ecosystem.

The trawl is also easier to handle thanks to the both Jellyfishbot hauling, which can take slightly different paths. It can collect up to 150 kg of floating waste and oils.

“ This combination of skills will make it possible to clean extended areas spoiled by the pollution. The Jellyfishbot collects waste and oils on the water surface when it's alone, and the Thomsea trawl works with two crafts. These two solutions are obviously complementary.” comments Cédric Chupin, C to Sea founder.
