IDE Komplan has with its nine diving compressor BAVARIA FUN2-85 the solution for the operation of electric compressors by means of on-board generator.

Almost all small portable compressors are powered by a 2.2 kW 230 V AC motor.

However, 2.2 KW is too much for all generators up to 5.5 kW active power, so most yacht owners switch to gasoline-powered compressors with a heavy heart.
