Rolex Fastnet Race 2023: A success for the J/s!

The J/ team made a big splash during the 50th edition of the Rolex Fastnet Race. This iconic race is the rendezvous of ocean racing afficionados.

This year, competitors had to contend with very rough weather on this mythical course, which starts in Cowes (England), goes around the Fasntet and down to the finish line in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin (France).

Once again, the J/ team showed they were in the game, with no fewer than 5 podium finishes!

The family crew of the J/133 Pintia cruiser racer took victory in IRC 1B and IRC1 against the overall titleholder.

The J/99s took the podium in IRC 2B, IRC 2 and IRC 3A. The duos of J/99 Disko Trooper (Winner Sydney Hobart double-handed in 2022) and J/99 Axesail led the IRC double-handed fleet for more than three-quarters of the race, competing with the biggest boats in real time.

These fine performances add to the numerous results achieved by the J/99s this season. With this new record of achievements, the J/99 continues to prove that she is the versatile boat to play at the front of the pack, whether in offshore IRC/ORC, windward leeward or costal regattas.

In 15 days, we're hoping for further podium at the ORC World Championship in Kiel (Germany).
