Make your trim tabs automatic!

More precise measurements, faster adjustment of the boat and a beautifully designed control panel. The dream has been to get everything into the control panel. No cables, no boxes, no extra wires to connect. Just put in an automatic control panel instead of the traditional four buttons.

It all started out in 2000 when motion sensors, previously only used in cruise missiles and large ships found their way to automotive applications. – We knew this would lower prices and saw the possibility to employ these sensors in marine products – says founder Peter Ostberg.

Today, the sensors measure only a few millimeters and together with surrounding electronics and software, they are able to calculate the boat''s movements in all directions. This has made it possible to integrate everything into the control panel and allowing installation at any angle between standing up or lying down according to the boat''s helm.

Installation that used to take hours is now a question of minutes. You just remove the old buttons and place the new automatic panel instead.

The output signals from the panel can control all known brands of trim tabs keeping the boat at the optimum attitude regardless of shifting winds, changes in course or passengers moving around. While changing course, the system locks the automatic operation and does not control the tabs.

It is also still possible to operate the tabs manually. In manual mode, the driver presses the starboard button to incline the boat in the starboard direction and the port button for the port direction. It is intuitive and the system decides whether to raise one tab or lower the other. LED indicators also help by displaying the tab position.
