Stainless steel identifier

Inox Test identifies the most common stainless steel alloys. It can be fitted within the back of one’s hand, the liquids used do not damage the product, and the result is given in just 10/15 seconds.

Inox Test identifies stainless steel alloys, through an electrochemical test and:

- A Magnetic Test: to identify the AISI 400 series stainless steel;

- A test to determine the presence of manganese and to distinguish an AISI 200 series stainless steel from an AISI 300 series stainless steel;

- A test to determine the presence of molybdenum and to distinguish an AISI 300 series stainless steel from an AISI 316 series stainless steel. It is ideal to test surfaces on boats, sailboats, yacht and cruise ships.
