Burger starts construction of 31.5m explorer yacht

American yacht builder Burger Boat Company have started the construction on their latest project; a 31.55 metre full displacement explorer yacht designed by Luiz DeBasto, who worked on both the interior and exterior of the vessel. The yacht is set to be launched from the Burger facility in Wisconsin in the spring of 2017.

On board she features plenty of exterior space for guests to utilise, including a cosy flybridge complete with a Jacuzzi, bar and comfortable shaded seating area and a large al fresco dining area leading from the main salon and down to the beach club.

The vessel has been designed with long range cruising and fishing in mind and is built to ABS classification. Powered by twin CAT C18 engines, she will have a range of 4,000 nm at a speed of 9.5 knots, a top speed of 12.4 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
