TORNADO WORLDS

Even though it is no longer the Olympic cat, the Tornado remains a fabulous machine

All those who have been lucky enough to race on it know this, and continue to confront one another with passion. This was the case again this year at Perth, in Australia, at the beginning of January. And once again, the Tornado showed that it is a craft which is both technical and incredibly spectacular.

After four days’ racing, the Greeks Iordanis Paschalidis and Kostas Trigonis won in the Open class, ahead of the Australians Brett Burvill and Ryan Duffield, with Roland and Nahid Gaebler in third place on the podium (and first in the Mixed class).

Next year, the Tornado Worlds will be held at Carnac, in France, from 5th to 12th September 2015.
