Alain Thébault is launching a new project with iDroptere, a slightly crazy flying boat project (like the Hydroptère), based on super-cavitating foils capable of reaching 150 km/h in the water

To reach this impressive speed, the iDroptere will have to sail at four times the wind speed, an efficiency never before achieved under sail.
