The New 55m Sailing Yacht Concept "Cauta" Is Here... And Yes, It's AMAZING!

Turkish designer Timur Bozca has revealed a new lightweight high performance sailing yacht packed with a range of high-tech features.

The 55m concept Cauta is designed with a carbon fibre hull and fitted with a revolutionary Dynarig system to increase efficiency and enhance the sailing pleasure on board. The yacht is dressed in a ‘Elite Supernova Silver’ colour scheme to match the design’s innovative lines and advanced technological systems incorporated into the daily use of the vessel.

Inspired by the aerodynamic and efficient shape of an albatross in flight, Cauta has been designed with a minimalist approach to make the yacht as comfortable and easily maintainable as possible during long periods on board with the owner and his guests. The lightweight structure on the outside gives inspiration to the functional and eclectic interior spaces.

OLED technology was applied in creating an illuminative experience inside with an abundance of soft LED lights adding an element of added space to interior guest areas.

On board is accommodation for ten guests and eight crew members. A full beam master suite is located towards the stern offering the most pace and comfortable sleeping quarters anywhere on the yacht. Unlike traditional yachts, all guest cabins provide unmatched exterior views with a magical underwater experience through massive monolithic polycarbonate side and floor panels.

Cauta is a diesel-electric sailing yacht and powered through an innovative shaft and feathering prop. With all three Caterpillar C12.9 gensets in operation, the yacht runs through a Siemens electric engine to increase power efficiency, reduce consumption noise and vibration.
