Chinese shipyard HeySea Yachts’ 40 metre catamaran superyacht is taking shape in Jiangmen in the province of Guangdong.

The build of its first Vista Catamaran 130 was commissioned in 2014 by the CEO and shareholder of the China Cup International Regatta who will reportedly take delivery of his yacht next year.

The yacht’s steel hull is complete with the fibreglass superstructure now being built up. Her incredible beam of 12 metres will be appreciated throughout the vessel as communal guest spaces are supersized compared to mono-hull yachts of the same length which makes the Vista Catamaran ideal for hosting larger group during viewing events.

Powered by 2 x Volvo 725HP engines, the catamaran will have a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots while offering a range of 4,000 nm.
