Sailing Side by Side

The Neo 495 was designed with handicapped accessibility and safety aboard in mind.

On the market since 2005, the boat has a deep cockpit and side-by-side seating for double-handed sailing, as in Paralympic class 2.4mR. The vertical tiller rises between the forward-facing crew. The furling jib is self-tacking, facilitating maneuvers, and an asymmetric spinnaker is standard. This sailing dinghy can also be single-handed. Draft is 1.30 meters and beam, 1.18 meters. The lifting keel and rudder make it trailerable. The Neo 495 has a C category safety rating and is designed to handle Force 6 winds and seas of 2 meters.
