Oyster Yachts will build their first sailing yacht!

UK shipyard, Oyster Yachts, announced that they are going to build their first sailing yacht ever and it’s going to be called Oyster 118

The design was made by the shipyard and Humphreys Yacht design, the project also will be 35 meter and will represent the largest vessel to be built at Oyster’s Southampton yard.

“We are delighted to build the new Oyster 118 in Britain at our own Southampton facility,” says CEO David Tydeman.

“We have been working for nearly three years in close conjunction with Humphreys Yacht Design developing the specification and design and we’re really proud now to announce the contract to start work”.

Tooling will commence in April.
