New sale for Baglietto

The Italian yard announces the signing of a contract for a ‘top secret’ 54m displacement superyacht…

After the sale of 46m Fast Lucky Me and delivery of the MV19 Ridoc, Baglietto has sold a new 54m all-aluminium, displacement yacht (hull #10231) to an American owner. Details of the design are being kept under wraps for the time being, but the yard has revealed that it is based on a new technical platform developed expressly for the owner with a beam of 10.40m, a draft of 2.60m, and a transatlantic range of 4,500nm at a cruising speed of 12 knots.

“I am very proud of this new build," says Michele Gavino, CEO at Baglietto. “It rewards the hard work the shipyard has been doing during the last year. We have made a great effort in the research and development of a new product range and this special yacht, based on a brand new platform, both in terms of engineering and styling, confirms we are following the right direction.”

The Baglietto range consists of four distinct lines: the Fast Line (38-46m aluminium planing hull); the T-Line (43-62m steel and aluminium); the V-Line (40-50m displacement or semi-displacement hull with plumb bow); and the diminutive MV Line (13-19m fast aluminium planing hull). Three other yachts are currently in build at the Baglietto shipyard in La Spezia as it prepares to start work on the new 54m project: a displacement 55m T-Line in steel and aluminum, a 43m Fast Line, and a 48m T-Line sistership of M/Y Andiamo, all designed by Francesco Paszkowski.
