Hinckley begins construction of new storage building at its Florida facility

Hinckley Yacht Services in Stuart, Fla., yesterday broke ground on a 40,000-square-foot storage building. The climate-controlled drystack facility will be able to accommodate more than 60 boats, which Hinckley says makes it the largest one of its kind in the area.

The building is being manufactured to Broward and Dade County hurricane standards that require it to withstand a Category 5 storm.

Peter Saladino, Hinckley’s chief marketing officer, said in a statement that the building is necessary because of “the growth of our business in Florida and a desire to support to customer requests for climate-controlled storage and storm protection.”
