Record number of superyachts under contract at CdM

Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) has announced a record number of projects in their construction book. With ten projects currently under contract measuring between 31 and 43 metres, together they measure a total length of 368 metres.

"Thanks to them and to our committed and passionate management, Cantiere delle Marche has a solid double-digit growth and its production is growing in both figures and quality," says Gabriele Virgili, Cantiere delle Marche's chairman and majority shareholder.

The company already delivered the 32-metre Gatto earlier this year and is set to deliver two more yachts later this year; the Nauta Air 110' Mimi La Sardine and the Darwin 102' Tenggiri. Next year will see the delivery of their largest yacht to date, the 42.8-metre K42 project, which will be named Audace. Interested in learning more about K42? CdM is also set to deliver the 37.5-metre Acciaio 123' Astrum in 2019. 2020 is slated to be a big year for the Italian shipyard, with no less than four deliveries scheduled in. All four superyachts measure between 39 and 40 metres and include three projects that were unveiled earlier this year. One is the 39.5m Spadolini designed explorer yacht project CP, another the 40m project MG 129 and lastly the 40m flexplorer project Aurelia. A new project on the list is the Acala 2, which is a 39-metre one-off project. No further details have been unveiled about this project yet, however, it is safe to assume she will be a new yacht for the owner of the 31m CDM Acala.

The Italian company has two new projects set to launch in 2021, both Darwin class projects. One, a 34m Darwin 112 project named Alma and a yet unnamed 31m Darwin 102 project.
