Launched: Closer look at new 107m Benetti superyacht FB 277

Following the unveiling of Benetti’s largest superyacht in history last week, the Italian shipyard yesterday successfully launched the 107-metre motor yacht FB 277 in Livorno where she was lowered into the water for the first time. She will become available for exclusive charters starting in the summer of 2019 through owner’s representatives and build managers, Imperial.

“Project FB 277 marks an important step in Imperial history by being one of the most exclusive vessels available for charter," comments Imperial Director, Julia Stewart. “This milestone shows the positive influence of our young but growing company to the superyacht industry, which is behind some of the most exciting superyacht deliveries of the last decade."

On board, guests can look forward to a spacious 8-cabin arrangement, touch-and-go helicopter landing pad and an oversized swimming pool on the sundeck. The full-beam master suite is located just aft of the wheelhouse and comes with a fixed balcony on either side where guests can relax in privacy. At the very aft section of this deck sits the large upper saloon where all guests on board can meet and listen to the grand piano being played or enjoy a movie on the dedicated cinema system installed here. In addition, seven large VIP staterooms are located along the main deck, each with its own spacious en-suite bathroom.

Designed entirely by Benetti’s in-house team of engineers and stylists, FB 277 comes with a hefty volume of 3,800 GT and a distinctive vertical bow design. Inside, the decor is described by Imperial as minimal and contemporary with bright furnishings and large windows for an airy and relaxed experience on board.

“We are proud to give birth to a successful superyacht, and we look forward to seeing her sporty, roaring lines cruising along the seven seas,” added Stewart.

FB 277 is one of three 100+ metre motor yacht projects under construction at Benetti which will be completed over the next 12 months.
