Argos Nautic upgrades manufacturing facility
With plans in place to expand its model line, rigid hull inflatable manufacturer Argos Nautic has reconfigured its manufacturing space in Miami, Fla. The company has implemented lean production processes — each step of manufacturing now with its own dedicated bay, maximizing effectiveness of the space for technicians.
The upgrade also lets the boatbuilder respond to future shifts in consumer demand. Argos Nautic has added staff and a new showroom to keep pace with the hoped-for increase in orders.
“We have always been about craftsmanship and attention to every detail — with a hyper-modern twist,” Juan Mestre, Argos Nautic sales and marketing director, said in a statement. “By streamlining, however, we introduce improved efficiencies that will allow us to build an even better boat.”
Argos Nautic offers outboard- and jet-powered RIB tenders from 10 feet to 13 feet, 6 inches.
