MCI SUPPLIES PRINCESS X95

Marine Components International is to supply Bennett Marine trim tab systems to Princess Yachts latest model, the X95.

The deal will see Poole-based MCI supply the American-made Bennett trim tabs to Princess to assist with the planing attitude of the new 95ft, 104 tonne yacht which has a speed range of 24-26 knots.

Maximum performance

“MCI has drawn on all its expertise and experience to work with Princess’ design team to ensure they have a bespoke system based on the Bennett premier line range to help the yacht deliver maximum performance and comfort.”

The trim tabs will be supplied with an Electronic Indicator Control system.

“Bennett’s trim tabs, used correctly, maximise fuel efficiency, safety and comfort helping to control the attitude of the yacht,” added Andy. “The X95 is 104 tonnes carrying half fuel and half water so the weight can change considerably during a journey, as a result, the skipper needs the best possible system to help keep the yacht at the prime position.”
