Horizon’s FD line to include 28m FD92 in 2020

Taiwan-based shipyard Horizon yachts has announced that it’s expanding its Fast Displacement line with the 28-metre FD92, the first hull of which will be delivered in July 2020 to an experienced American owner.

The tri-deck superyacht is based on the popular FD87 and came from the owner’s desire for a yacht with both an enclosed skylounge and an open flybridge, and will feature an extended hull.

The yacht has five staterooms including a full-beam master on the main deck and four additional staterooms on the lower deck in addition to accommodation for up to three crew.. Amenities on board include a small bar on the upper deck, a six-person Jacuzzi with sunpads on the foredeck and a fully-equipped swim platform.

A second hull of the FD92 will be built on speculation and launched at the end of 2020.
