SHOES FOR ON AND OFF THE WATER

New from Zhik for 2020 is the company’s APEX range of jackets, shorts and trousers.

The items are made from a breathable, two-layer, waterproof fabric with a durable water-repellent coating and taped seams.

The APEX jacket is a coastal/offshore jacket with an adjustable hood and integrated faceshield.

A reinforced rear panel protects against wear and reflexite shoulder the jacket also has wrist reflectors to help wearers show up in the dark.

The trousers and shorts are designed with a fitted, tapered cut and raised waist with silcon waist grips.

Lightweight and flexible

Also new from Zhik is its P3 PFD, a light, ‘race-cut’ buoyancy vest that is ISO 12402-5 certified and Fuze sneaker-style deck shoes that are lightweight and flexible.

The shoes are designed to be used on or in the water as well on land.

A mesh upper fabric allows breathability, quick drainage and is fast drying. The shoes also have a ‘one-way’ drainage system within the sole created by moulded channels cast into the mid-sole to channel water away from underfoot.

A PU reinforced fabric protects the upper, heel and toe areas; the soles are made from Zhik’s non-marking ZK Soles. Inside the shoe, an antibacterial coating has been added the inner.
