SOLARGLIDE EXPANDS INTO NEW PREMISES

Solarglide has expanded its operations into a new 4,000sq ft warehouse and office space at Baker's Yard, Gosforth, Newcastle.

The company, which manufactures and supplies marine blinds and window coverings, was established in 2008 by founder and MD, Paul Pringle, has grown its staff from seven to 11 and is looking to expand further in the future.

The new warehouse and office premises is more than three times the size of Solarglide’s previous operation, enabling the team to manufacture products on site.

“We're a very ambitious company,” said Mike Pringle, CEO. “As part of our three-year plan we're aiming to double our current turnover of £1.2m and we're confident that this move will help us deliver our aspirations.”
