Epidemic of Coronavirus-Covid 19 - cessation of production of Fountaine-Pajot catamarans

Due to the current exceptional circumstances, the Fountaine-Pajot shipyard, world number two in the catamaran market, has decided to stop production.

The La Rochelle site, organized around two production sites located in La Rochelle and Aigrefeuille, had initially adopted health measures to protect its employees working on site.

The situation has evolved to such an extent that the site, headed by Nicolas Gardies, decided to stop production as of 17 March, for a period "adapted to the situation and government measures".

The aim of this exceptional decision is to protect the health of all the company's employees and to slow the spread of the virus.

Fountaine-Pajot employees will benefit from government measures relating to partial unemployment.
