ISA Yachts Reveals Interior of First ISA Gran Turismo 45 Superyacht

ISA Yachts has revealed the Luca Dini-designed interior of its in-build GT 45 superyacht.

Sold in March 2019, the GT 45 is under construction at ISA’s Ancona shipyard and is set to be delivered in time for the summer 2020 season.

With exterior design by Enrico Gobbi, the GT 45 "represents a new era for the Gran Turismo line", the yard said. A steel hull and aluminium superstructure combines style and sportiness, and takes inspiration from modern sports cars.

This inspiration extends into the interior design, with Dini describing the owner as "an enlightened, forward-looking, open-minded entrepreneur."

“Sea, natural light and fresh air had to be centre stage alongside his profound love for technical and functional things, simple materials, cars, speed and primary colours," Dini said.

As a result, Dini's team "modulated the use of materials and glare, as if we were selecting appropriate key words for creative writing."

Key features of the yacht include a "fairly generous interior space, liveable outdoor areas and a strong emphasis on the indoor-outdoor interaction".

Details include sliding glass doors, which connect the saloons to the cockpits, invisible curtains and sunlight filter systems.

Natural and relaxing shades are found throughout, specifically blue and red tones, while materials include "carbon, rosewood and stitched leather" inspired by "automotive stylistic elements".

The result is an atmosphere that is "welcoming, lively, light but concrete", the builder said.

Freestanding furnishings are found throughout the GT 45 by designers including Achille Castiglioni and Caccia Dominioni. In the accommodation quarters meanwhile, the bulkheads behind the beds have been turned into "true artworks" of personalised sketches themed around waves, sand, rocks, coral wind and speed.

Due to be launched later this year, the yacht is due to premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.

Accommodation on board is for eight guests in four large cabins, including a luxurious full-beam master suite complete with a balcony and private access to the bow sunbathing area. Meanwhile, large windows along the yacht’s profile provide the master cabin and main saloon with far reaching ocean views.

Elsewhere, the GT 45's exterior profile features pronounced external arches connecting the hull to the superstructure, enhanced by distinctive sports car-inspired features - namely air intakes.

The GT 45 accommodates a crew of up to seven and provides a range of 3,500 nautical miles at a speed of 12 knots.
