The World Superyacht Awards, due to be held in London on 15-16 May, have been postponed until September, in response to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
The event, which is organised by BOAT International, will now be held in London on 5-6 September.
BOAT International's co-CEOs, Toby Moore and Tony Euden, said: "We have been monitoring the situation closely, and have taken the decision to postpone the Awards.
"The health and safety of our guests is obviously our first concern, and we cannot continue with the event in May given the current situation. At this time, our thoughts are with everyone already affected by coronavirus.
"We look forward to welcoming our partners and guests to London in September."
Entries to the Awards will remain unaffected and tickets already purchased for the May event will be honoured for September. See here for a list of this year’s nominees : https://www.boatinternational.com/luxury-yacht-events/world-superyacht-awards/world-superyacht-awards-nominees--42889
