Dynamiq Reveals GTT 160 Superyacht Concept for "Active Owners"

Dynamiq has revealed a new 50 metre superyacht concept aimed at “active owners” called the GTT 160.

The 49.5 metre, all aluminium model is part of a new range of configurable yachts focused on sport and wellbeing and intended for owners wanting to travel to many different locations. Interested potential owners can configure the yacht using Dynamiq's website.

With a starting price of €19,900,000, the yacht features “racy and contemporary styling” penned by Dobroserdov Design and a fast displacement hull by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.

The hull reduces drag and increases fuel efficiency, resulting in top speeds of 17 knots and a maximum transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. A more powerful propulsion package is also available for top speeds of 23 knots while an optional hybrid system can provide silent cruising.

Dynamiq founder and chief executive Sergei Dobroserdov said the GTT 160 offered a point of difference in the crowded 50 metre market.

“There are so many 50 metre yachts below 500GT available, but they all look very similar with pretty much the same functionality,” he said.

As a result, the builder focused on “modern owners’ priorities”, focusing specifically on well-being, efficiency and price.

“In terms of naval architecture, we selected a slender hull with a long waterline that is much more efficient and comfortable than a short, wide one. So rather than maximising the interior volume we analysed everything an owner wants or needs in terms of general arrangement and features,” he added.

Key features on board include guest accommodation for a total of 12 guests in six cabins and crew quarters for up to eight staff.

The master stateroom sits on the main deck forward with two striking fixed side balconies. The large galley is equipped with a breakfast bar. An outdoor cinema lounge and bar area sit on the upper deck while the sun deck has a second helm position with far reaching ocean views.

Unusually, the 120 square metre beach club sits on the main deck, which also features a hot tub big enough for 12 people and enclosed spa area with a sauna, hammam and gym.
