Yacht Charter - Dream Yacht Charter opens a new base in La Spezia, Italy

The world leader in the yacht chater market, is developing its offer in the Mediterranean area, with the opening of a rental base in Italy, in La Spezia, to meet the new expectations of yachtsmen resulting from the Covid crisis.

This new base is located in Porto Lotti, a private marina in La Spezia, situated between Genoa and Pisa. Porto Lotti is in fact the ideal starting point to discover the Italian Riviera di Levante, as well as the famous Cinque Terre National Park.

Bookings are open now and the first boardings will be possible from 27 June 2020.

This modern and well-sheltered marina offers excellent facilities including a bar, restaurant, swimming pool, tennis courts, beauty salon, gym, supermarket, conference area, cinema and heliport.

The fleet of boats available in Porto Lotti allows you to choose between monohulls and catamarans, but also to discover the brand new Monocat Sun Loft, for bareboat or crewed charter.

Among the yachts on offer, are Bali 4.1, Bénéteau Oceanis 48 & 51.1, Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349, 389 & 449, Dufour 460 and the famous Jeanneau Sun Loft 47.

After suspending operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dream Yacht Charter has seen an increase in demand for destinations that can be reached by car by travellers from Western Europe. The season began with the first yachtsmen arriving on the Côte d'Azur, Sweden and in Noumea, New Caledonia.

Loïc Bonnet adds: "We did not stand still during the pandemic and we reacted quickly to the changing trend in local travel. We were the first in the sector to launch our COVID-19 measures for our staff, fleet preparation and check-in and check-out processes to help customers understand our procedures and feel confident. La Spezia is the second base we are opening this year, following the successful launch of Compass Point Marina, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. We moved quickly to meet the increasing demand for local tourism. We expanded our offering in Italy with a new base and by adding boats to our fleet. We have also strengthened our fleet in France at our bases on the French Riviera."
