First Bering 145 Flagship Yacht Under Construction

Bering Yachts has begun construction on a new 45 metre flagship model, the Bering 145.

Built from a full displacement steel hull, the yacht is due for delivery in 2022.

Combining “elegance, speed and the latest technology”, the superyacht was designed entirely in-house and will be fitted with a hybrid propulsion system. Under diesel power, the yacht will have a 4,500 nautical mile range at a cruising speed of eight knots. The yacht’s top speed is estimated to reach 15 knots.

With a 9.7 metre beam, the Bering 145 has an “extremely function” interior layout with a large saloon, lounge area and dining table large enough to seat 12 on the main deck. A second dining area is found on the upper deck in the skylounge. The main deck also hosts the master cabin, which sits forward.

An additional five guest cabins provide total accommodation for 12 guests on board.

A total of 32 square metres of storage space for equipment and water toys sits on the lower deck while tenders are stored on the upper deck. A large relaxation and entertainment area is found in the 40 square metre beach club, which sits at the stern.
