Inside the 25 Metre Trimonoran Yacht Concept Escalade

A 25 metre trimonoran yacht concept named Escalade has been revealed by yacht designer Baran Akalin.

Described as a “new generation luxury motor yacht”, the concept features a trimonoran hull developed by Dutch firm Anwigema.

Described as a combination of a monohull and trimaran hull, the trimonoran hull shape features a main central hull flanked by two thinner hulls to port and starboard beneath the waterline. Akalin estimates this hull shape to provide 30% more space than a monohull while providing stability, safety and less water resistance. Powered by a hydraulic propulsion system, Escalade will have an estimated top speed of 42 knots.

Accommodation on board is for a total of four guest ensuite cabins; a master at the bow, one VIP and two double guest cabins on the lower deck. The crew quarters meanwhile allows for a staff of two. The concept is also equipped with a garage large enough to swallow a tender and two Jet Skis.

Sunbathing and lounging areas are plentiful on board, with sunpads located aft of the main deck and another large sunbathing area at the bow. A glass bottom Jacuzzi sits on the flybridge.

The large saloon features a lounge area on the port side and raised dining area and galley on the starboard side, as well as a large cinema screen.

The interior design, which has been penned by Celia Sawyer, is described as “elegant and luxurious”, with the saloon decorated in “white, black and brown tones” with marble and custom-made cabinets.
