Numarine Launches Three More 26XP Yachts

Turkish superyacht yard Numarine has launched three more 26XP yachts, all on the same day.

The yard, which is based near Istanbul, has now launched a total of eight 26XPs and revealed that three more models have been sold and are due to launch in 2020 and 2021.

Two of the freshly launched 26XPs are displacement versions with a bulbous bow for stability and range. The third is equipped with 1200hp MAN engines and a planning hull and is the first 26XP to feature this specific configuration.

The 26XP’s exterior and interior design come from long term Numarine collaborator Can Yalman, while naval architecture has been handled by Umberto Tagliavini.

Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins, comprising a master suite, two VIPs and one twin cabin.

The interior has been described as “spacious and refined”. One key feature is a large section of the saloon windows, which slides open to create a floating terrace over the sea.

There are also numerous social areas on board the yacht, including a spacious saloon and seating area at the bow, as well as an open dining area aft. The 2.5 deck yacht also includes a 55 square metre flybridge.

Speaking about the three launches, Numarine founder and chairman Omer Malaz said: “Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Numarine continued working with the respect to all the necessary precautionary measures and ensured our staff are safe.”

He added: “These efforts allowed us to lead the projects in strict accordance with the schedule. I’m happy that we have built three more amazing 26XP explorer yachts and I’m sure they will bring a lot of joy of autonomous long-range cruising to the owners.”
