40m Lürssen sailing yacht Marlin Del Rey V on the market

The 40.23-metre sailing yacht Marlin Del Rey V, previously known as Twirlybird V, is now listed as a yacht for sale.

Built by Lürssen in 1993, she features an exterior designed in a collaboration between British designer Tony Castro and Vancouver based studio Ron Holland Design, while her interiors come from the drawing boards of Hampshire-based studio Ken Freivokh Design.

Having been continually updated by her current owner, Marlin Del Rey V has been maintained in immaculate condition throughout. Built with stability in mind, the sailing yacht for sale is equipped with a ketch that heels no more than 20 degrees when close-hauled and carrying full sail in Beaufort Force 6 and associated sea conditions.

Marlin Del Rey V’s interior includes a main salon with panoramic views, an entertainment area with a seating and dining area. Outside, guests can make use of the open-plan deck layout that connects to the cockpit area.

The Lürssen yacht for sale accommodates up to eight guests in four staterooms below deck. Located amidships, the master stateroom is completed with a private seating area, plush king-size bed, a walk-in dressing room and his-and-hers en-suite bathroom.
