The Washington State RIB outfit teamed with LC8 Marine for a Plymouth, Mass., sales and service center.
Life Proof Boats, the Bremerton, Wash., builder of aluminum hulled, deep-V, foam/air hybrid collared RIBs, have paired with LC8 Marine for the boatbuilder’s first foray into the Northeastern United States.
For the company’s first sales and service center, the company says it chose wisely: LC8 Marine built-for-adventure ethos is an ideal match to Life Proof’s all-weather model line.
“These boats fill a niche that is currently unmet in New England,” said LC8 proprietor Scott Dyer in a statement. “The line of boats from 17 to 50 feet are constructed from commercial-grade premium materials with a full package of amenities to provide some of the world’s safest and stable boats on the water today.”
After exposure at last year’s Newport International Boat Show, Life Proof CEO Micah Bowers saw a big uptick in brand interest in the Northeast, leading to the partnership with LC8.
“Our strategic partnership with LC8 Marine allows us to better serve current and future boat owners in the region, while providing the unparalleled level of service our owners expect,” Bowers said.
Life Proof Boats model line includes semi- and full-custom RIBS up to 50 feet with owner’s choice of power, open or hardtop center console and cabin models with amenities like self-bailing decks, and shock-mitigating seating. In addition to its recreational model line, the company has a division that focuses on sales to professional and government entities.
