BRP announced two new models for its Manitou pontoon boat brand — the Aurora LE and the Manitou LX.
The Aurora LE offers more features as standards and comes with a redesigned hull, and the Manitou LX will replace the Legacy and X-Plode models.
Both are quicker to obtain than models had been in the past due to streamlined manufacturing and dealer ordering processes, the company said.
“We’ve modified our lineup to reflect what our customers are looking for,” said BRP Marine Group product development director James Heintz in a statement. “The new Aurora LE now offers even more fun for the whole family, still at an affordable price. It’s the perfect pontoon to get you on the water. With the new LX, our customers get the best combination of performance and comfort, with no compromise.”
The Aurora LE will be available in lengths from 18 to 25 feet with standard, angler and rear-facing floor plans.
The boat will be available with a variety of hull design and engine choices and has completely redesigned furniture. Standards include a 7-inch Garmin multifunction display, a stainless steel ladder and ski tow bar on the V-Toon models.
The new Aurora LE VP can now accommodate up to 200 hp. This upgrade is also available on Oasis, Encore and SES models.
The Manitou LX series comes in lengths of 23 to 27 feet, and is available with dual engine or sport handling package. Positive angle lifting strakes and the Barracuda nose cone design give the sport handling package boats the ability to perform even at high speeds and in rough waters, according to the company.
Standard features include power assist steering, LED interior and exterior lighting and color-matched mooring cover.
A host of options is also available, including configurable loungers, sunpads and windscreens.
