WILLIAMS JET TENDERS INCREASES CAPACITY

Williams Jet Tenders is continuing to expand its production capacity following increased customer orders for its full range of tenders and selling all stock boats over the past three months.

Williams Jet Tenders ceased production on 24 March in accordance with government Covid-19 pandemic guidelines, but a skeleton team returned shortly after to the factory in April to meet customers’ orders, with Williams fulfilling all deliveries during the lockdown period.

Keeping staff safe

Mathew Hornsby, sales director at Williams Jet Tenders, said that it was right to close in March to keep staff safe. ”We envisaged closing for some time, but orders continued to come in and so we made the decision to return with a small team in April as we did not want to let any customers down,” he said.

“We had originally scaled back our forecasting to build a smaller number of boats each week, but because the orders have continued at a good pace, we’ve had to scale up our teams each week to meet this demand."

And Matthew said that Williams' business position and investment in its manufacturing facility, meant resumption of building and shipping tender could swiftly resume.

"The flexibility and strength of our supply chain has been phenomenal, allowing us to scale production quickly and to fulfil all orders,” he added.
