Sunreef and Malcolm McKeon unveil a superyacht catamaran, the Sunreef MM460CAT

Sunreef Yachts, the world leader in the semi-custom luxury catamaran market, unveils, with designer Malcolm McKeon, a giant sailing catamaran, nearly 46m long, which is clearly positioned in the superyacht market!

Observing a growing demand for large luxury sailing catamarans, the Gdansk-based Sunreef Yachts Shipyard decided to partner with one of the best designers of his generation, Malcolm McKeon, to develop a radical superyacht concept, the Sunreef MM460 CAT.

Renowned for the quality of its productions, the shipyard founded and managed by the Frenchman Francis Lapp masters internally both the design and the construction of its catamarans. The company is also finalizing a brand new construction site, which will undoubtedly be one of the most important in Europe.

With the Sunreef MM460CAT, Sunreef Yachts is once again raising the bar in the market for exceptional catamarans.

The design of this model is distinguished by the impressive glass superstructure, crowned by a 60 square metre flybridge. This generous space not only offers exemplary visibility at both helm stations, but also provides a dream setting to relax while the yacht is under sail.

Thanks to a 16.65 m main beam, the aft cockpit of this catamaran sailyacht is characterised by impressive proportions. Beneath the flybridge overhang, there is a large open-air dining area, a large lounge and L-shaped sofas that conceal the steps leading to the aft platforms. Access to the main saloon is via large sliding glass doors that open across virtually the entire width of the superstructure.

On the main deck forward are the owner's and VIP suites. These cabins are of equal size and are each equipped with double beds, a desk and a dressing room. The view is over the forward cockpit with its sunbathing area and jacuzzi.

The starboard hull houses the guest accommodations, including four cabins with en suite bathrooms, all convertible in double or twin configuration.

Aft of the starboard hull, the Sunreef MM460CAT carries a 6.2m tender, its nautical toys, diving bottles and compressor, as well as the diving suits. The tender for the crew is stowed forward, as are the two jet skis.

In the port hull there is a beach club with an adjacent bar and sauna and a 2.5 m folding platform that allows direct access to the water.

Crew quarters are also located in the port hull. There are three cabins with twin beds, the engineer's cabin and the captain's cabin, as well as the crew mess, the laundry room and the yacht's galley.

The composite construction of the Sunreef MM460CAT is completed by a carbon fibre mast and boom. The total sail area of the yacht is over 2,500 m².
