CdM Reveals Interior of 31m Explorer Archipelago
Cantiere delle Marche has revealed the interiors of the fifth hull in its Darwin Class 102 named Archipelago.
The yacht was launched in June of last year and this is the first time the Italian yard has offered a glimpse of her interiors, which were penned by Francesco Guida. According to the yard, the owners worked "shoulder to shoulder" with the Interior Design Department at CdM to create their vision down to the "smallest details".
The interior styling by Guida has been described as “refreshing”, with “white, green and blue hues”.
A large open-plan living room sits on the main deck - the heart of the yacht - alongside a formal dining area with eight blush pink velvet dining chairs. Subtle textures feature throughout with tactile oak flooring, bouclé upholstery and a bespoke rug underfoot. Above, metallic lacquered ceiling panels reflect the natural light filtering oversized windows.
Accommodation is for a total of 10 guests across five guest suites: two doubles and two twins are found on the lower deck while the owner’s suite sits on the main deck forward. The guest cabins are cohesive with a neutral colour palette and grey stone-clad en suite bathrooms. The crew quarters meanwhile allow for a staff of six.
The owners wanted the yacht to be a “holiday at sea in total peace, safety and relaxation”, the yard revealed at the launch, describing Archipelago as “encompassing all the renowned qualities of the Darwin Class”, from construction and equipment to seaworthiness and long range.
Power comes from a pair of Caterpillar C18 Acert B engines for a top speed of 13 knots, cruising speed of 11.5 knots and range of 4700 nautical miles at 9.5 knots. Naval architecture and engineering are courtesy of Sergio Cutolo/ Hydro Tec.
