Columbus Classic 50 Superyacht Concept Revealed

Columbus Yachts has added a 50 metre bluewater cruising motor yacht concept to its range of Classic displacement yachts.

Sitting alongside the 80 metre, 100 metre and 120 metre models, the Columbus Classic 50 model features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.

Hydro Tec has penned the exterior, which is characterised by large superstructure windows and a hull defined by flared and slender bow shapes.

Large outdoor spaces are key, with a number of available configurations that include a lounge, bar, dining area and swimming pool.

Speaking about the design, Hydro Tec founder Sergio Cutolo said: “Her timeless exterior lines remind those of the bigger sisters of the Columbus Classic range, including the renewed 80 metre motor yacht Dragon delivered in 2019.”

The sub 500GT interior has accommodation for 12 guests across four guest cabins, a VIP and owner’s cabin. The interior also features two lounges; one on the main deck and another on the upper deck.

The main tender is stored in the lower deck garage while a large beach club sits aft.

The new model is estimated to have a cruising speed of 14 knots and range of 4,000 nautical miles.
