Inside the Fifth Horizon RP110 Yacht Wild Duck

Horizon Yachts has released new images of the fifth hull in Horizon’s 33.53 metre RP110 yacht series, Wild Duck, which was delivered last year.

Since delivery Wild Duck’s owner, a third time Horizon client, has been cruising the US, Bahamas and Caribbean.

It comes after the yacht was launched alongside the seventh hull in the series, The Legion.

Wild Duck features naval architecture by Donald Blount and exterior design created in collaboration with J.C. Espinosa.

The interior, which was designed by Luca Dini features a four-cabin layout for eight guests. The master cabin, which traditionally sits on the main deck, has been moved instead to the lower deck, alongside the rest of the guest accommodation.

This has freed up the main deck and allows for an extended saloon, galley and country kitchen. A bar aft of the saloon features numerous bottle wine storage units.

The crew quarters, located aft of the engine room, allows for a staff of six. The interior décor is described as “masculine but refined” and features grey oak panels, teak and Indian rosewood frames. A colour palette of grey, ochre and browns compliments materials such as stone, leather and glass.

Elsewhere, Wild Duck features a spacious sun deck with a bar and numerous seating areas which is enclosed forward and open to the elements aft.
