Answering the demand from boatbuilders and boat owners for integration and connectivity between all on-board devices, Fischer Panda UK introduced a range of product enhancements during 2020.
These included new chartplotter communication capabilities for the company’s latest generators, enabling compatibility with Raymarine, Garmin, B&G, Lowrance and Simrad multifunction displays.
In addition, new NMEA 2000 certification for Fischer Panda’s gensets further enhances their integration with other on-board systems, supporting the trend towards single point control and monitoring.
Fischer Panda UK also confirmed that its fixed speed xSeries generators can now be connected in parallel.
“We know that our customers are demanding easy integration of all on-board systems and a more comfortable life onboard, so it has been very pleasing to introduce a number of product innovations in recent months to add further value to our integrated systems,” said Fischer Panda UK’s sales and marketing director, Chris Fower.
Fischer Panda UK also extended its generator product line this year, adding the VS Series of variable speed hybrid DC generators for electric propulsion.
Compatible with the new standardised FP Control system, the new generators offer efficient and smart hybrid systems to support the move to electric power.
The FP Control, which allows various set-ups as well as the connection to a CAN BUS system, improves generator efficiency and the ability to adapt use according to live data.
