Spaceline 100 Hybrid, a new concept in luxury motor catamarans
Ultimate Catamarans (UC) is a newcomer to the luxury power catamaran market. Based in Bonn, Germany, the manufacturer intends to offer a complete range of multihulls with an innovative design.
Solar and electrical energy
The first model is the Spaceline 100 Hybrid, a 19.5-meter-long catamaran with four decks to provide even more space on board. The boat combines electric and solar energy with a surface area of 226 m2 of panels. It is equipped with an electric motor powered either only by electric battery and solar energy, or by two diesel engines with a capacity of 16,000 liters. It would thus be possible to combine the two types of propulsion for long journeys.
The announced cruising speed is 8/12 knots, and the maximum speed is 18/20 knots. The manufacturer arguing an autonomy going from 850 miles to the infinity only by using the solar energy. This last would also allow to maintain the operation of the air conditioning and the apparatuses of the edge the night.
A huge living space
With a total surface area of 800 m2 - including 400 m2 of living space - the boat offers a new concept: space everywhere, inside and outside, with a headroom of over 2.20 m.
This sense of space is accentuated by the panoramic windows in the suites, the 360° panoramic view in the salon and the flybridge.
The spacious saloon has a contemporary design and offers a large entertaining area with sofas, TV and hi-fi equipment and a dining area for 10 people. Outside, there are other dining areas on the large upper deck terrace or on the flybridge. Three bars allow you to enjoy cold drinks on these same decks.
The upper deck's front terrace offers a large 92 m2 area with sofas and lounge chairs. Finally, the cockpit and aft deck of the boat are 142 m2.
The location of the staterooms, VIP suites and the master suite ensures guest privacy. All VIP suites have a private balcony, and the master cabin has two balconies on each side of the cabin. All of them also have a private bathroom.
The owner's suite is large with a surface area of 55 m2, the VIP suites have a surface area of 25 to 27 m2.
The Spaceline 100 Hybrid will be built to order as a luxury product.
