Evoy Unveils 300-hp Electric Outboard

Evoy said it introduced a 300-hp electric outboard motor with 225 kW of continuous power at this week’s Cannes Yachting Festival in Cannes, France. The Outboard Storm is the most powerful electric outboard ever, Evoy said in a statement.

In association with the launch, Evoy announced partnerships with three boatbuilders: Axopar, French Iguana Yachts and Goldfish. Each builder plans to introduce new models with the new Evoy motors.

Axopar launched a 25-foot electric prototype on the water at the Cannes show, Evoy said. The French Iguana and Goldfish vessels are scheduled for introduction in spring 2023.
